In spite of all the problems South Africa has, it appears that many oppressed peoples of the world continue to look to this Republic for hope and inspiration.
Other than Palestine, the island of West Papua, in the South Pacific, is another example. They are also an oppressed people going through immense suffering and oppression. They too experience genocide, though less publicized. (See here)
For a few years now, the Evangelical Church in West Papua (GIDI) has appealed to South African evangelicals to assist.
TEASA General Secretary, Rev. Moss Ntlha, will be addressing a conference there in June.
GIDI leaders have previously visited TEASA and shared their testimony of passion for the Lord in the midst of oppression and genocide.
