On 11 and 12 January this year, the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, headed by her Excellency Minister Naledi Pandor, along with the Department of Justice, took Israel to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Some prominent evangelical voices and pro-Israel networks publicly objected, which appeared to suggest that they did not want this Court of Justice to adjudicate over the matter of whether or not Israel was in breach of the International Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. TEASA provided an opportunity for TEASA members to engage with Minister Pandor on the reasoning behind the litigation.
