On Monday evening President Ramaphosa announced that South Africa will be placed under an “adjusted” Level 3 lockdown from midnight Monday 28 December 2020 until 15 January 2021. All this comes after the country surpassed 1 million cumulative Covid-19 infections and recorded daily increases with a drastic climb on Christmas day.
