TEASA HEALTH COMMISSION: Covid-19 and Churches in India

The devastating COVID19 infections and death crisis in India

India is one of the most populated nations in the world with over a billion people. It is also one of the world’s largest democracies. Like all nations it has not been doing that bad in managing the pandemic. It has been implementing one of the largest mass vaccination programs in the world. By the last count they had vaccinated close 150 million people.

But in the recent weeks and days something has gone wrong and they have witnessed one of the highest infections and daily deaths. The world is shocked by daily pictures and videos of sick people dying outside hospitals and mass cremations. Their health system is completely overwhelmed.

A number of evangelical organizations and churches are organizing mass prayer campaigns for the country on the 6th and 7th of May.

We are inviting Rev Dr Saheb Borgall from India to come share with members of the Health Commission this Friday the 7th of May 2021 between 18h00 and 19h00 about the massive crisis infection outbreak situation in their country and how churches are responding. Rev Dr Saheb Borgall is a pastor, mission leader and theology lecturer. He is a MA Leeds and PhD Wales graduate. He is the founder and long-time leader of Tribal Transformation movement – an indigenous mission organization in India.
